After working for NetVentures for over 3 years, I watched the brand evolve and develop from very simple roots and just a logo. So it was an absolute delight to introduce a new look, feel and element to the marketing pieces before I made my departure. The second update from my whirlwind of projects, includes the Circle Series. A series based on the use of a simplistic pattern and design but evolving and personalizing it for specific clients or projects - you may remember the one from my Mumford & Sons blog post! FINALLY! Yes, finally! After a chaotic few weeks, I finally have a few days off to relax, rejuvenate and update some items on my website (see the LHC Prodesigns \\ Works page), blog (you're already here!) and Facebook page. So to get the ball rolling, here is the first update which includes one of my fave recent projects I worked on with a very dear friend of mine for her husbands birthday. Nathan conjures up incredible beer blends from his basement. With a set name which has been set for quite sometime, it was a fun fix to design the beer and 6 pack container labels which could be printed at home and allowed for space to personalize | describe the contents of the bottle. It's been a CRAZY past few weeks with exciting new projects and plenty of updates to existing ones. But with a new adventure ahead and wrapping up ends here in the USA, it seems that it's the small creative projects and designs which matter the most. A very special friend gave me this beautiful card one rainy April evening and after a quick polaroid snaphot, the 2 items made for the most perfect memory for the the now and the future. Design and art has a funny way of keeping treasured moments close and clear.

The idea came to me on a rainy February afternoon whilst sitting in the waiting room at H&R Block - yes, even the best ideas come come while getting your taxes done! And within an hour I had scheduled a photo shoot with Dan McDilda (a local Roanoke photographer) and set forward with a quick and quirk way to showcase some of my work! It is no secret that I A:Am an ENORMOUS Mumford & Sons fan B: Think that their Marketing team is GENIOUS and C: Gain GREAT creative inspiration from A & B! So I was over the moon when my friend and I magically got special invite tickets to see them this past week at the Patriot Center. I took the liberty of "branding" us with personalized | designed Facebook covers, Facebook profile pictures and T-Shirts! Mumford & Sons did not disappoint and I was able to capture some of the show with an array of photos and video snippets(currently in the editing process!) which mark this event and the many memories tied to it.

2013 has begun with a wave of inspired photography. Amazing what a shift in the weather and another new nifty camera can do for creativity. I spoiled myself to the fun Instax Mini polaroid camera which produces instant credit card sized photos with beautiful vintage tones. I've been snappy happy! And with the success, it might even get it's own area on the LHC Prodesigns \\ WORKS page. With 2 large snow storms passing through our area, I've been able to snap on my snow boots and take beautiful photo's of the fresh powder and enjoy some days "shredding" powder on the slopes with the one of my favorite things, my snow board!

Saying that I have been busy is an understatement! This truly has been the silly season for mounds of ad designs, everyday work projects, festive season designs and the slew of holiday celebrations - it's been overwhelming . . . but there's no time like the holidays! Some personal projects involved holiday cards, gift tags (and the balance between modern chic and rustic accents)and personalized door signs for 2 very special little ladies and corporate invites! Wishing you and your families a very Happy Holiday and Fabulous 2013!

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year - the weather, start of the festive spirit and the beautiful sunsets. I cannot resist the urge to snap a pic at every chance I get and with the helpful effects on my various app's, capture something magical! I've also had some exciting new projects, additions to existing ones, new fun photo effects, and have dived back onto my love for the written art. And there's even more to come! Stay tuned for some holiday items and designs.

Photography is one of my greatest passions and creative outlets. It allows me to get out in the world, explore and see it all through a lens and different point of view. I came across the Diana F+ accidentally through Lomography and instantly fell in love with the vintage inspired films and 60's cult viewpoint. The majority of my photography captures places, objects and people whom are unaware of my presence. So when a friend approached me with the idea of directing, styling and photographing a shoot - I took it as a challenge and possible new arena in my photography (with alot more practice required!). It was a real FIRST! Here's a few snapshots from a fun filled day out in the country with model & actor, Adam Sledd (who made my job so much easier).

After using the start up LHCPD logo since 2007, it was time to remove any signs of the heavily used black and reinvent a fresh, current and symbolic logo. A logo which represented/s the evolution of the creativity and design over the past few years. By the end of July, the old website "closed it's doors" waiting in great anticipation for the "new kid on the block." The temporary page with a hint of what was to come received positive responses with much excitement.
